Dreaming of a white Christmas?
They might not be able to promise snow, but it’ll begin to look a lot like Christmas six months early at Wandering Cooks as they embark on a brr-illiant, enchanting journey to a glorious winter wonderland (just minus Frosty the Snowman).
In collaboration with indie treats and Camille’s Kitchen, sleigh down on Sunday, July 28 to their winter feast, Figment and Thyme, to have yourself a merry little Christmas (in July).
Laden with hearty flavours and oozing festive fare, their exclusive Christmas in July menu promises to transport guests right to the heart of the snow-capped French Alps with succulent marmalade-glazed baked ham and a hearty, slow roast turkey roulade with chestnut stuffing.
There’ll be a colourful range of veggie options, like a jewelled roast vegetable platter, guaranteed to keep all our vegetarian friends in the Yuletide spirit. Wear your stretchiest jeans (and your best Christmas jumper) to settle in for flavoursome chestnut, porcini and stilton-stuffed dumpling pumpkins.
Don’t fill up early, though! It’s not a real Christmas celebration without stuffing yourself silly with pudding, right? Round off the luncheon by slipping into a figgy pudding with brandy custard and rich rum butter.
Gather up the entire family, crack a few bon bons, and secure your place here for Wandering Cooks’ Figment and Thyme Christmas in July celebration.
