There’s a brand new eatery opening up on Fish Lane, with the help of some familiar faces.
The owners of the much-loved Billykart–Ben Roberts and Ben O’Donoghue–are bringing their culinary fare across the road, devoting the new space entirely to chilled-out, relaxed dining.
Bender’s will feature a concise menu of mouthwatering burgers and snacks, with something for everyone to sink their teeth into. Some Billykart favourites have found their way onto Bender’s menu, including the famous Billykart cheese burger and decadent truffle fries. Other unmissable items include fried pickles and jalapeño poppers, and a fried chicken sandwich.
Named after Ben O’Donoghue himself, the casual spot will quickly become a staple for Fish Lane locals, set to host to trivia nights, live music and DJs, live sports broadcasting, and weekly specials.
Fish Lane is full of delicious eats and popular watering holes, and this new kid on the block will stand out by adding a slightly gourmet and entirely delicious spin on chilled-out dining.
Bender’s Bar will open its doors on Thursday, November 7, at 56 Boundary St.
