2019 is an exciting year for Billykart West End, with owner Ben O’Donoghue bringing his cookery magic to a number of special dinner events, sharing menus based on some of his favourite cuisines. The dinner series kicks off on Tuesday, May 28 with an Italian feast focused on big, authentic flavours and plates that are designed to be shared.
The four-course affair begins with antipasti heroing a delicious fig carpaccio and other yummy bites, followed by pasta and main courses before finishing with a bang – we’re talking a dessert of sweet potato zeppole with crème fraiche and local honey. Accompanying each course will be matching Italian style wines and drinks from up and coming Australian producers.
The Italian Feast will also be Head Chef Scott Webster’s final dinner service before leaving Billykart, giving regulars the perfect chance to say thanks and send him off with a night full of feasting and cheer!
