4 Years Retrospective – Wyn Vogel 2017 to 2020 at Fish Lane Studios

It’s been a busy four years for Fish Lane Studios curator Wyn Vogel! Until the end of October, swing by Fish Lane Studios for a look at 4 Years in Retrospective, a showcase of Wyn’s pieces from 2017 to 2020.

Taking influence from Australia, Italy, France, and China, Wyn uses acrylic, pastel, and watercolour to create stunning art and thought-provoking pieces that focus on topics like global warming. For those who can’t make it to Fish Lane Studios, there’s a video available here that shows Wyn’s work.

The exhibition will be open for viewing every Wednesday to Sunday between 10 am and 2 pm until the end of October, at 4 Edmondstone St. Make a day of it, and visit Billykart for a coffee and a bite before or after a visit to the exhibition!

Still feeling arty? Be sure to book yourself into the next Modern Botanical workshop, taking place on Wednesday, October 7 at 6 pm. The third workshop of the series, this class will focus on roses fresh from the Brisbane Flower Market, with Wyn on hand to assist the budding artists!

Didn’t nab a spot at the workshop? Head to the Fish Lane Studio online store and peruse art supplies, or purchase gifts for your friends and family like rustic handmade jewellery by Noela Mills, or stunning woodwork by Michelle Vogel.
