Butler Wine Bar joins the Fish Lane family

If you can’t get enough of Lune Croissanterie – like us – you’ll be pleased to know that this fabulous team is set to open not one, but TWO new venues this month.

In addition to Lune’s highly anticipated retail store opening soon on Burnett Lane, The Lune Co has taken over Fish Lane yet again with Butler Wine Bar.

Come Thursday, July 7, you’ll be croissant-ing by day and vino-pouring by night.

Boasting just 35 seats, Butler’s intimate dining area stretches the bar with banquettes and al fresco seating available. You’ll have to be quick to snag a comfy booth – this neighbourhood bar is about to be the go-to spot for cosy catch-ups and late-night dates.

Keeping with the pared-back vibe, Butler’s food menu consists of considered and sustainable cuisine, highlighting the tastes of Queensland. From snacks to share plates, you’ll be grazing on prawn tartare with macadamia cream, boozy spiced madeleines with brandy caramel, and mushroom tarts for hours on end.

Although you may be sceptical about a bar created by pastry geniuses, Butler’s extensive wine list is nothing to be scoffed at. The selection covers all your vino-needs with locally-brewed beers and specialty cocktails, with a twist on the classics. Perfect for winter, the pumpkin highball and miso old fashioned should be top of your must-try list.

Keep an eye on Butler Wine Bar, Brisbanites – they’re the new sheriff in town.
