Celebrate Canada Day with Saccharomyces Beer Café

Maple bacon, ice hockey and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – Canada has certainly graced us with a world of good, eh?

With Canada Day falling on Monday, July 1, the friendly folk at Saccharomyces Beer Café are being as polite as their Canadian counterparts and celebrating one day early!

Starting at 9:30am on Sunday, June 30, don your red and white threads and settle in for classic Canadian brunch. Saccharomyces will be serving stacked pancakes topped with crispy maple bacon, fried eggs, whipped butter and maple syrup, accompanied by a traditional Canadian drink – the Caesar (made with authentic imported Canadian Clamato juice and garnished with a fried chicken and bacon-wrapped jalapeño skewer)!

If that wasn’t enough of a magnificent mouthful, brunch-goers will also receive a pot of any Canadian beer on tap (with ten varieties to choose from) – the perfect introduction to the afternoon’s following festivities.

From 12pm, Saccharomyces’ Canada Day Eve Party will be in full swing. A special Canadian-inspired menu will be available, including maple syrup candied bacon, poutine, Canadian pizza and maple syrup candied smoked pork ribs, to pair perfectly with those Canadian tap brews (and another Caesar)!

Don’t forget to grab tickets to brunch here, before hanging around for a memorable free Canadian celebration.

O, Canada!
