September on Fish Lane: Your Guide to What’s On
Spring has officially sprung, and Fish Lane is getting into the season properly.
September brings school-holiday adventures, vinyl hunting, Brisbane’s biggest night of fireworks, Father’s Day feasts, yoga in the Town Square, late-night drinks and plenty of reasons to make a trip to Fish Lane.

Get the Kids Out of the House These School Holidays
Looking for something to do with the kids these September school holidays? Pick up a Fish Lane Art Trail Map from Goodside and set off on a little adventure around the precinct!
The trail takes you past some of Fish Lane’s artworks, with colouring-in and activities along the way to keep little explorers entertained. As always, there’s something for the grown-ups too, so make a day of it with lunch, gelato, or a well-earned coffee along the way.

Fish Lane Vinyl Market | Friday 4 September
There’s something about digging through a crate of records that will never get old. On Friday 4 September from 5-7pm, Ibis Records are bringing their Vinyl Market to the precinct, with plenty of records to browse, discover and take home.
And naturally, once you’ve found your new favourite record, you’ll need somewhere to celebrate. We happen to be very well stocked on that front, wink wink.

Riverfire on Fish Lane | Saturday 5 September
Riverfire lands on Saturday 5 September, bringing the fireworks, crowds and general city-wide excitement with it. If you’re looking for somewhere to settle in before the sky lights up, Hotel Terminus has a great position for catching the fireworks, while plenty of Fish Lane venues will be open for dinner service.
This is one of Brisbane’s biggest nights of the year, so it’s worth planning ahead. Book your table, allow plenty of time to get to the precinct and expect things to be busy.

A Fish Lane Father’s Day | Sunday 6 September
Dad is so sick of another pair of tongs for the BBQ. This year, let us do all the cooking.
At Southside, Dad can enjoy a complimentary Fish Lane Lager, with a choice of à la carte, banquet and Yum Cha Sunday menus available. It’s a pretty solid way to spend a Sunday.
Over at Marlowe, it’s all about a generous, classic Sunday spread. Think beef cheek and ale pie, cheese & onion croquettes, a 250g sirloin with onion rings and beef jus, grilled market fish and the all-important Bloody Mary cart making its way tableside.
Meanwhile, Hotel Terminus is getting into the gifting spirit, with live engraving available for every William Grant & Sons bottle purchased from their bottle shop on 3 and 4 September. Then, on Father’s Day itself, they’ll be serving up a Dad’s Roast until sold out.
Whatever Dad’s version of a good day looks like, we reckon you’ll find it somewhere down Fish Lane.

Chu’ve Got Plans at Chu The Phat
There’s always something happening at Chu the Phat. Start your weekend early on Friday with 50/50 Fridays, where everything is 50% off from 3–5pm, or make your Saturday that much better with the Super Chu-per banquet and two-hour beverage package from 12–3pm. Planning ahead? Super Dad’s Day is serving up an $88pp banquet made for the big guy, while Melbourne Cup is coming in hot with a celebration worth dressing up for. Check out Chu’s website for all the latest offers, events and booking details.

Stay Up Late with Us
We keep hearing that there’s nowhere to go late in Brisbane. We beg to differ.
Fish Lane is one of those places where dinner doesn’t have to mean the end of the night. Many of our venues are open until 12am, while Bar Brutus, Midtown Bar, Maeve Wine Bar and Hotel Terminus keep things going until 3am.
So whether you’re looking for a post-show tipple, a late-night bite, a nightcap or somewhere to continue the night after dinner, you don’t need to call it a night just because the clock has ticked past 10.
Bedtime can wait.
