Celebrate Queensland Beer Week with Saccharomyces
If there’s one thing Queenslanders do well, it’s beer! Fish Lane’s resident beer hotspot, Saccharomyces Beer Cafe, is marking the annual Queensland Beer Week in their usual style – with plenty of beer!
With their 12 rotating taps pouring some of the best brews, you can enjoy a few cold ones in-venue alongside their delicious hearty menu, or have your picks packaged in 500mL cans to take home!
Seasonal bites from Saccharomyces’ menu, designed to pair perfectly with beers, include baked camembert drizzled with honey, Cajun-style fried chicken, loaded flatbreads with toppings like chorizo, zucchini, capsicum, and mozzarella.
On Sunday, August 16, 23, and 30 ditch the pub tunes for something a bit different when the RUE Arts string quartet will be performing Joseph Haydn’s arrangements live in the bar – tickets are $10, and redeemable on brews.
Queensland Beer Week runs from August 14 to August 23; you can celebrate it with Saccharomyces from midday Wednesdays to Sundays and from 4 pm Mondays and Tuesdays.
