Fish Lane is changing in 2020

Recent visitors to Fish Lane would have noticed that things are looking different!

To make way for Fish Lane Town Square (a redevelopment of the laneway between Hope Street and Grey Street due in the spring of this year), some Fish Lane tenants have moved to make way for big changes!

A combined lifestyle/retail/dining precinct, Fish Lane Town Square is set to be a vibrant urban park, with 3000 plants, public seating, lighting installations, projectors and vitrines all set to accommodate music, performance and events to the engaging, creative spirit that’s currently fostered on Fish Lane.

Fans of Hello Please would have noticed that the venue has moved from their temporary former site in the car park to a brand new spot on the corner of Hope Street, with fresh subway tiles, plenty more seating than was on offer at the former iteration, and a revamped menu with even more Asian-inspired dishes.

Further up the lane, a new tenant has moved into the former site of Kiss The Berry. A fresh new coffee shop with tasty breakfast options, Cups on Melbourne is pouring Industry Beans coffees alongside delicious breakfast and lunch options like acai bowls and cheesy mushroom jaffles!

2020 has only just started – stay tuned for what’s in store for Fish Lane this year!
