Fish Lane’s Newest Art Installation

Is it a door for fairies? Does Stuart Little live there? What’s the big deal about the latest art installation on Fish Lane?

If you walk around Brisbane you may have spotted a mysterious Tiny Door before. In trees, inside the Gallery of Modern Art and in many of the laneways around town.

Brisbane’s newest tiny door is located at 76 Fish Lane, across from street art mural The Finished Wall – and we’re sure the fairies of Fish Lane are glad to have a permanent home.

Artist Mace Robertson’s Fish Lane fairy door has been crafted using ironwood, eucalyptus and aluminium, and even has teeny tiny brass fittings to ensure this Fairy House has one of the fanciest doors in Brisbane.

If you take a stroll down the laneway, make sure you drop into Lune Croissanterie for a truly magical experience.
