Queensland Ballet’s The Nutcracker
This magical holiday classic is back for its seventh season and it only keeps getting more enchanting. Watch this beloved Christmas story come alive with dancing toys and sugar plum fairies all to the same beautiful score. Make sure to secure your tickets here.
Spirit Of Christmas 2019
The most heartwarming Christmas performance is back! Spirit of Christmas will again be a celebration of festive cheer, and spread the true message of Christmas through the holiday songs and carols we all know and love. With a full orchestra and choir fronted by two of Australia’s leading musical theatre performers, it truly is the most magical time of the year. With only two performances on December 20 and 21, gather the family, stat!
A Christmas Carol
Another must-see Christmas classic! Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is brought to life by the talents of shake & stir after a sell-out season in 2018. Follow the story of Ebenezer Scrooge who, on Christmas Eve, has unexpected visitors knock on his door and change his life forever. Running only from November 29 to December 15 this is one not to be missed.
A Very Kransky Christmas
If you’re looking to shake up your Christmas viewing and go the non-traditional route, then look no further then A Very Kransky Christmas, which is sure to tick all of the boxes. The Kransky Sisters give you a peek at their very untraditional Christmas musical experience, combining the likes of Daft Punk with Silent Night and instruments from the tuba to a toilet brush. One thing is for sure, this is going to be a very kooky Christmas.
QPAC is located in the bustling arts precinct of South Bank and is only a short walk from Fish Lane.
