Commemorate at The Fox this Anzac Day

Live close to Fish Lane and want to commemorate with a crowd?

Then head down to the Fox Hotel this ANZAC Day. On Wednesday, April 25th, the Fox will be celebrating the spirit of Australia by serving up all their usual popular eats and donating 50c of every draught beer sold to Legacy Brisbane.

They’ll be open from 10.00am onwards, making it the perfect place to stop by after the ode and dawn services.

They’ll be no shortage of pennies this ANZAC Day – in keeping with tradition and paying homage to our diggers past and present, The Fox are also encouraging guests to try their luck at their annual Two-Up Ring competition.

While the rest of the laneway is closed, the corner of Fish Lane and Hope becomes the centre of the action as the two-up games and cheering crowds spill onto the street – major cash prizes for this event are also up for grabs!

The Fox’s delicious Gunfire Brekky Burgers will also be available and commemorators can raise their beers to the awesome live entertainment planned for the day.

For those wondering what they can do to pay respect to service men and women this ANZAC Day, dawn services are set to begin at 4.28am sharp across the Brisbane CBD. Following on from this is the 2018 Brisbane ANZAC Day Parade, which is always a worthwhile event to attend.

As one of the oldest pubs to grace Brisbane, there’s truly no better place to reflect and drink to the ANZAC’s than the Fox Hotel.
