New on Fish Lane: Southside
We’ve loved welcoming some exciting (and delicious) venues to our new Town Square precinct, and the third and final eatery is now open for business!
One of Brisbane’s most anticipated restaurant openings of 2020, Southside has already taken the city by storm with its stunning architecture, warm hospitality, and impressive pan-Asian menu and wine list.
The multi-story building houses many spaces for dining and drinking, as well as a mezzanine private dining space. Surrounded by greenery (and neighbouring sibling Kiki Kiosk), Southside bridges Fish Lane and Melbourne Street.

Southside offers two menu options: a la carte-style, or a Feed me banquet. Both menus are heavy on bold Chinese-centric flavours, with the likes of drunken scallop with Chinese pear and ginger, chicken wonton, black vinegar and chilli oil, and hiramasa kingfish with charred onion.
The creative menu moves on to more significant share plates, like Goolwa pippies with XO sauce and seaweed, and dan dan noodles with Wagyu beef and ‘strange flavour’ sauce.
Visit before a show at our neighbouring cultural precinct QPAC, or come for a long lunch before a stroll down colourful Fish Lane, and be blown away by the beauty of Southside. See the menu and book in here.
