There’s Something Brewing at Saccharomyces Beer Cafe
While March 17 is reserved for pints of Guinness in honour of Saint Patrick’s Day, a wander into Saccharomyces Beer Café on March 18 will transport you to a world of its own thanks to their epic upcoming collaboration with Danish Brewing innovator Mikkeller – and its American-style icon, WarPigs BrewPub!
To celebrate Brewsvegas, which storms into Brisbane this March 14-24, Saccharomyces is hosting two curated dinners and a whole weekend of fun featuring more than 50 of Mikkeller’s unique brews.
Living up to the ‘char’ in Saccharomyces, your favourite Fish Lane beer emporium will be embracing the all-star, star-spangled activity that is Texan BBQ on Monday, March 18 from 6pm – 9pm!
Think pulled pork smorgasbords, eighteen-hour grilled beef brisket, and six-hour organic chicken complemented by 10 WarPig brews on tap courtesy of the American 3 Floyds x Danish Mikkeller brewery collaboration – flown in especially for the event!
If your knowledge of beers extends to pilsners, pilsners, and… pilsners (?), don’t fret! Saccharomyces expert staff/ brew masters-in-making will be there to recommend the perfect beer for your BBQ as well as guide you through the whole new range.
For those with a sweet tooth, there’ll also be a limited-edition strawberry doughnut burger up for grabs, filled with fresh strawberries, mint whipped cream, chocolate, and beer strawberry jam on a fresh doughnut.
The best bit? Tickets are only $100 to enjoy the delicious pork, brisket, and chicken BBQ Trinity Platter, one strawberry doughnut burger, a free Mikkeller & Friends beer glass to take home, and four tokens to redeem on any of the WarPig beers on tap.
