Celebrate World Martini Day with Bar Brutus

We’re stirring (or shaking) things up on June 19 in celebration of World Martini Day – and you’re invited to get in on the fun.

Whether your tastes run classic gin, vodka or even espresso – there’s no denying that martinis remain a mainstay on any good cocktail list. 

To celebrate World Martini Day, Fish Lane’s Italian-inspired bar, Bar Brutus, has curated three all-Australian martinis. Located under the railway bridge and looking  out to the concrete jungle otherwise known as Town Square, Bar Brutus is perfect for a pre or post dinner cocktail.

Whether you fancy your martini shaken like Bond, or with a pinch of salt like Rockefeller, it’s the perfect excuse to whip out your gin and vermouth and try these martini recipes from Bar Brutus co owner and longstanding barman, Stefan. 

Archie Rose: 60ml Bone Dry Gin, 10ml Maidenii Dry Vermouth, Caperberry Garnish 

Never Never: 60ml Argo Gin from the freezer, Olive and Lemon Twist Garnish

Ambleside: 60ml Big Dry Gin, 12ml Maidenii Dry Vermouth, 3 Drops Rosemary and Chili Oil to Garnish
