Meet our two new venues: Kiki and Bar Brutus
The first two spots to call our new Town Square precinct home have opened, bringing Italian aperitivo snacks, banh mis, coffee and leafy knockoff drinks to the lane.
Situated directly across from its older sibling, Bar Brutus is a spritz bar from the team behind Julius, open Wednesdays-Sundays from 4 pm. The menu is all about small-scale snacks like crostini laden with Cantabrian anchovies and tomato, plates of salumi with giardinieri and Parmigiano, and olives with grissini.
It’s not Italian aperitivo without a beverage, so Bar Brutus’ list offers a tidy selection of (mostly Italian) wines, beers, cocktails and spritzes like classic Negroni sbagliatos or The Mayor with Amaro Montenegro, Cynar, grapefruit bitters, prosecco and soda.
Over in the heart of Town Square, Kiki fills our unique circular kiosk, serving up sweet treats, fresh banh mis and coffee from 7 am daily, before transforming into a rainforest bar for evening drinks and nibbles from midday, Tuesday-Sunday (set to commence early December).
A sibling to upcoming Town Square addition Southside, Kiki is an urban oasis that allows visitors to enjoy the surrounds of our new precinct while nestled under the railway line that frames the area.
With everything from chic spritzes to leafy evening brews covered, these two new Town Square spots are set to be must-visits as summer approaches!
