TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL | FROM 2 JULY | QPAC

Jukebox musicals are coming in hot at the moment. Featuring more than 20 of her iconic songs, including “Simply the Best”, “River Deep – Mountain High” and “Proud Mary”, this smash-hit musical is a heart-pumping musical spectacular. It’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry and it’ll definitely have you on your feet dancing. Find out more and get your tickets here

WICKED | FROM 12 SEPTEMBER | QPAC

Rejoicify! Wicked, the musical sensation and prequel to the Wizard of Oz that has defied gravity globally for over 20 years, is back in Australia. The story follows two young women; one born with emerald-green skin, who is smart, fiery, and possesses an extraordinary talent, and the other, a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular. Their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships… until the world decides to call one ‘good’, and the other one ‘wicked’. We are simply thrillified that we finally get to see this spell-binding story play out on-stage at the Lyric Theatre in QPAC from September this year. Tickets are now on sale here

Hallelujah. Sister Act the Musical is hitting the Aussie stage early next year! Inspired by the iconic movie starring Whoopi Goldberg, this show is all about Deloris, a disco queen who finds herself in a precarious situation that causes her to her to hide out in a convent. Wild, right? Here she has to grapple with getting the choir of Nuns into shape but of course, does so in the most extravagant way possible. Playing Deloris is Aussie favourite, Casey Donovan who is fresh off her stint in & Juliet the Musical.
