Southside
Fish Lane’s newest eatery is set to open its doors on Friday, November 4 to the delight of foodies far and wide. Southside is the main star of our Town Square precinct, spanning over three levels and plating pan-Asian dishes with pizzazz. Head here to book your spot at Southside.
Picnic and Paint
Fish Lane Studios will host a Picnic and Paint event on Saturday, December 5 to celebrate the opening of Town Square over art and nibbles! The workshop is open to all and will commence with a masterclass by studio curator and lead artist Wyn Vogel, before a picnic lunch and plenty of solo painting. Learn more and book your place here.
ANODYNE of SOLITUDE by Suzie Porter
‘ANODYNE of SOLITUDE’ is a solo exhibition by Queensland-based artist Suzie Porter, hosted by Fish Lane Studios from December 5 to 31. Delivered in the medium of oil and cold wax, the intriguing collection of textures and colours capture the emotional response to a place, relationship or a moment in time. The exhibition’s opening night will take place from 6 pm on Saturday, December 5, with tickets available here.
Live Music
Town Square is excited to welcome local artists every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from December 4. Popular duo Birdman Randy will kick things off between 5 pm and 9 pm on December 4, before Bernoulli Band performs on December 5, and Johanna and Jayden on December 6 between 1 pm and 5 pm.
The following weekend will include Kayleigh Pincott on December 11, Anna and Jordan on December 12, and Audrey and Jake on December 13. Taleena Peck will be joined by guitarist Luke Martin for a set on December 19, while soloist Emily Coustin will take to the stage on December 20.
Organic World Tour: Chu the Phat x Fourth Wave Wine
Tuesday, December 8 will see Fourth Wave Wines bring their Organic World Tour to Chu the Phat, pouring some of the finest organic wines from Australia, New Zealand, France, and Italy. Chu the Phat’s signature pan-Asian flavours will be out in full force, pairing perfectly with the unique drops. Head here to book your ticket.
Christmas Dog Photobooth
Furry friends will be included in the fun this Christmas time, with a very special pet-friendly photobooth coming to Town Square on Sunday, December 20! The free event will run from 10 am till 1 pm with festive backdrops and Christmas props aplenty.
A Very Sacchy Chrissy
Saccharomyces Beer Cafe is throwing a party on Christmas eve, to celebrate the end of 2020 in festive fashion! Sip on festive brews including Duchess Cherry, Duchess Cherry Chocolate, Bridge Road Magical Unicorn Ice Cream Ale and Wayward Raspberry Berliner Weise.
