How to welcome the Year of the Tiger on Fish Lane
As the lunar calendar approaches a new year on February 1, Fish Lane is preparing to herald the Year of the Tiger with festive banquets, lion dancers and a very special BrisAsia Festival event!
From Monday, January 31 to Sunday, February 6, Southside is celebrating the Year of the Tiger with a special modern Chinese banquet and lion dancers on Friday and Saturday night!
The banquet will offer special dishes like Sichuan tuna tartare with smoked salmon roe and shallot, scallop har gow with black caviar, and master stock Wagyu brisket with black garlic and pickled mushroom for $88pp, or $158pp with a two-hour beverage package, including cocktails!

For more pan-Asian flavours, Chu the Phat‘s menu incorporating flavours from Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan features handmade dumplings and snacks, fragrant stri-fries and punchy side dishes, as well as festive banquets perfect for a celebration. Later in February, the BrisAsia Festival, timed to coincide with Lunar New Year, is bringing the inaugural Laneway Tea Festival to Fish Lane!
