With Lunar New Year landing on a Friday in 2021, there’s no excuse not to get out and celebrate by experiencing some delicious flavours from across Asia!

Fish Lane’s Asian-inspired venues are a perfect spot to spend any Friday evening, but Lunar New Year at these restaurants is guaranteed to be a great way to welcome in the Year of the Ox.

Chu the Phat

With a menu inspired by Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, Chu the Phat is a fabulous spot to enjoy the tastes of Asia in celebration of Lunar New Year. As part of Brisbane City Council’s BrisAsia Food Festival, Chu The Phat will be offering an $88 banquet menu including a cocktail on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21!

Our newest addition is offering up a dedicated Chinese New Year banquet from Thursday, February 11 until Sunday, February 14 (so you could combine celebrations with Valentine’s Day!), serving favourites including lobster and chive har gow, siu yuk pork belly and custard buns for $89pp. Plus, there’ll be lion dancers paying a visit during dinner from Wednesday-Saturday, and during lunch on Sunday.
